The 169th Annual Cruise begins in Marblehead, Mass., on Saturday, July 26. Registration, the Captain’s Meeting and Opening Reception will take place at Eastern Yacht Club. On Sunday, July 27, Squadron Run No. 1 brings the fleet into region of Scituate, Mass., (including Hingham, Hull and Cohasset). Monday, racing for the Astor Cup will be sailed in Massachusetts Bay. The fleet will then proceed to Duxbury/ Plymouth, Mass.
On Tuesday, July 29, the group travels to Provincetown for Squadron Run No. 2; followed by a Lay Day on Wednesday. The Cruise then proceeds to Marion, Mass., on Thursday for Squadron Run No. 3. Friday, Squadron Run No. 4 takes the fleet to Vineyard Haven. Finally, on Saturday, August 2, the fleet voyages back to Newport on Squadron Run No. 5, for the Final Cruise Dinner and Dance at Harbour Court.
