The home page area immediately below the menu has a section to display selected posts that change every 7 seconds. The system is set to display the 10 most recent posts that have been marked for display. To enable a post for display the Slider category must be checked. This may be done when the post is created or updated. There is a box labeled Categories located on the right of the screen when editing or creating a post. You may check additional categories in addition to Slider so that the categories may be filtered when viewing posts.

The following assumes someone with Skipper or Admin rights is already logged in.

• Open an existing post by clicking on it, the click Edit Post at the top of the page or create a new post
• On the right side of the page is a section labeled Categories
• Check the box labeled Slider and any additional categories desired
• You may also add an optional Featured Image that displays in the background when it is displayed in the slider section. The Featured Image section is below the Categories and Tags sections on the right side when creating or editing a post.
• When done click the blue Update button if editing an existing post or blue Publish button if a new post - the respective button is located above the Categories section
• If more than 10 posts have been added to the Slider category, only the 10 most recent will display in the designated area.
• All posts are available to read in the area below the Slider area, even if Slider has not been checked.
