Not sure if it's a feature or a bug.
We have 44 crew on the roster, but for individual events only about 24 are showing as green, yellow or red. It's possible that the missing people were added after the events were created. Is there a way to make everyone show for the events, so that they can select their availability?

If someone is not showing for the event, can they see the event and add themselves?

Is there a way to broadcast an automatic email reminder, with a link where people can select their availability?

I've annotated answers below. Note that in general the procedure is the following (links are to sections in the support documentation):
1. Skipper adds crew to the boat website (usually only needed if new crew are to be added)
2. Skipper adds the events to the calendar individually or imports multiple events
3. Skipper assigns crew to group that message will be sent using crew groups
4. Skipper sends email to crew group requesting crew to update availability
5. Crew set availability for each event - Skipper is automatically notified.
6. Skipper assigns crew to a position using either edit assignments by crew or edit assignments by event. This is where the colored background changes from white to green, yellow or pink.

*** The method is to send an announcement about events and have each crew set availability for events. The easiest method for crew to do this is for crew to log in and select Availability under the Crew desktop menu, or click the checkmark on the graphical phone menu. This is explained in the Crew Manual at this link. The Crew Manual is always available on the menu under Support on the desktop and phone menu.

Alternately you could manually add all crew (8 at a time) using Edit Crew by Event and set their availability to Maybe, but this is not very efficient.

*** Yes there is a way. See this link in the Skipper Manual that describes how to send the email with a link for a single event. You may also copy a link to the boat website's Availability menu under Crew and paste it in the message.
