A feature requested by Mark Kennedy from Melges 32 Nuckelavee was the ability to save custom report settings so they may be easily recalled later.

Mark & I had a separate phone call to go over a possible implementation. The concept has the following:

• Load an Event or Crew report and set the desired check boxes, filters, dates, etc.
• Provide a box that allows the settings above to be saved and named as a custom report that may be recalled
• The saved report(s) would be available from the existing report selection dropdown with the name(s) listed. Selecting a named report would automatically load the saved settings
• Provide the ability to rename, change or delete any saved reports

This request will be implemented in an update that will be released soon.

Effective 30 December 2022 all sites have been updated to include the Save & Recall Custom Reports.

The settings for both the Crew and Event reports may be saved and recalled later to easily reproduce another report. This is useful for ad-hoc reports with the ability to download a CSV file that may be read by Excel.

There is a Save button located next to the report selector. This is clicked once the report settings are set and the view has been confirmed on the screen. The blue Save Report for Reuse button located next to the report dropdown selector is clicked. This presents a popup box with a prompt to name the saved report. The report is saved when OK is clicked.

The report may be recalled using the dropdown selector. The picture below shows a sample saved report that has been loaded. Once the report is loaded, the setting may be adjusted as desired. Options are provided to update, delete, rename, or copy the report.
